This policy explains how Symbians Sports Academy, which runs Symbians FC, Club One, Global City, Virar West, Maharashtra 401303 ("we", "us") handles personal data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
- Enquiry and trial form: the player's name and age, the parent or guardian's name, a phone number and your message.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to share when you contact us.
- Enrolment form: the player's name, age and photo, the parent or guardian's name, phone number, email address and an emergency contact.
- Photos and videos taken at training, matches and events.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and arrange free trial sessions.
- To register players, run training and enter teams into tournaments and leagues.
- To keep players safe, including contacting parents or guardians in an emergency.
- To share achievements, such as tournament results and player transfers, on this website and our social media, with the consent described below.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Children's information
Most of our players are under 18. We collect a child's details only from, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian. We publish a child's photo or name only with that consent, and a parent or guardian can ask us to remove it at any time.
Who we share it with
- Service providers: our enquiry form is stored in Google Forms (Google), and we talk to families on WhatsApp (Meta). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
- Football bodies and tournament organisers: player details needed to register for leagues and competitions, such as the Mumbai Football Association or Palghar District Football Association.
- When required by law, or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and enrolment records while the player trains with us and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless the law requires longer. Then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you or your child, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent (for example, for photos) at any time. You can also raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
